We are overjoyed to share the wonderful news—Bruno, our sweet senior golden boy, has officially been adopted! After months of uncertainty, medical challenges, and rehabilitation, he is now beginning a new chapter with a family who truly cherishes him. None of this would have been possible without the support of the CUDDLY community. Because of you, Bruno got his happy ending. But before we pop the confetti, let’s take a moment to remember how he got to where he is today.

Bruno’s journey to this happy ending wasn’t easy. Rescued from an abusive and neglectful household, he arrived in our care with a persistent cough that masked a far more serious condition. Not long after his rescue, Bruno experienced a terrifying cardiac episode that left him struggling to breathe and collapsing before our eyes. Our team acted quickly, rushing him to emergency care and getting him into the hands of a cardiologist, where it was confirmed that Bruno was in heart failure.

Over the next several months, Bruno underwent careful medical management. With daily medications, regular vet visits, and a team dedicated to monitoring his health, he gradually grew stronger and more comfortable. It’s not an exaggeration to say that Bruno’s healing is a miracle.

Finally, the day came when Bruno was ready for the next chapter of his life—a forever home where he could enjoy his golden years. Watching him walk through the door of his new home into a life of love and care was an emotional reminder of why rescue work matters. Bruno’s perseverance, paired with the generosity of donors who made his medical care possible, allowed this gentle soul to experience the happiness he so richly deserves.
