Marigold

We are overjoyed to share that Marigold, the kitten who was once found freezing, soaking wet, and fighting for her life, has officially been adopted! After weeks of medical care, warmth, and gentle love, she has finally found a home where she will never have to be alone again. Seeing her settle into a life filled with comfort, safety, and love is truly the happiest news.

Marigold’s journey to this point was nothing short of miraculous. She was spotted in freezing rain, alone and struggling to survive. A foster who regularly traps feral cats tried to help her that day, creating a makeshift shelter just to keep her warm for the night. But it wasn’t enough—Marigold’s condition worsened quickly. When she was spotted again a few days later, she was on the brink. She was rushed to the vet, where the full extent of her suffering became clear: a severe respiratory infection, dehydration, and painful ulcers from Calicivirus made even the simplest acts, like eating, excruciating.

Through careful, round-the-clock care, Marigold began to heal. Slowly, she learned to trust humans, even making tiny “biscuits” as a sign of comfort and relief. Each day brought small victories, and it truly warmed our hearts. 

After weeks of recovery, the day finally came when Marigold was ready for her forever home! She now has a loving adopter who was part of her rescue journey from the beginning, helping through her illness and the toughest night. She also has two fluffy feline siblings!

We couldn’t be happier for this brave girl and the amazing life that she has now. Her days are filled with love, comfort, and the security she deserves after such a rough start. We’re so proud of you, sweet girl!
