We have some incredible news to deliver today! Do you remember Twinkle, the precious cat who was abandoned by her owners the moment she got sick? Well, after everything this sweet girl has been through, she is now healed and surrounded by love in her very own forever home! We couldn’t be more thrilled for this sweet girl! It’s hard to put into words just how much this moment means. Twinkle’s journey was filled with pain and uncertainty, but today, her story is one of hope, resilience, and a second chance. Let’s take a moment to look back on how far she’s come.

When Twinkle first came into our care, her condition could only be described as devastating. Purchased for her looks and then abandoned the instant she became ill, a Good Samaritan found her discarded in a box. Twinkle’s suffering was immense. Her gastrointestinal condition had become so severe that her intestines had prolapsed outside of her body. She was in critical condition, and every second mattered. We rushed her to the veterinary hospital, knowing her life depended on immediate intervention.

Despite multiple vet visits and every effort to stabilize her, surgery quickly became Twinkle’s last hope for survival. Twinkle was whisked into the operating room, where her intestines were carefully placed back inside her body and secured. By some miracle, the procedure was a success. Everyone in the room let out a sigh of relief. Back at the rescue, Twinkle began her recovery surrounded by gentle care and the kindness she had been denied before. Slowly, Twinkle started to heal. As her body recovered, so did her shining spirit.

And then, Twinkle’s story transformed for the better. Soon after this precious girl was healed, she found a wonderfully loving home right here in Lebanon! Now, she is cherished for who she is. Not for appearances or her use as a status symbol, but for the sweet, resilient soul she has always been.
