Groot was a poor stray cat that was found in the middle of nowhere limping on an injured leg and with an awful wound on his neck. It wasn't clear as to how long he was suffering and if he ever had a family before. One day, he was thankfully saved by a Good Samaritan and Groot was taken into safety!
While under anesthesia for neuter surgery, Groot's vet scrubbed and cleaned his neck and removed the rotten flesh, sutured his wounds, and put him on antibiotics and pain meds. His puncture wounds on his leg were also cleaned and healed very nicely!
Because of the donations Groot received, he was able to get all of this help and WALK again! He raised over $700! He also has exciting news that he would love to share; he is looking for a forever home! None of this would have been possible without your support. Thank you so much!
