Frankie

When Frankie was first brought into rescue, the amount of sheer neglect he had endured was unimaginable and had actually led to the disintegration of his bottom jaw. HIS JAW. 

And as if that weren't enough - as if his jaw melting away wasn't enough - Frankie was suffering in so many other ways because of his horrific oral condition. His mouth was so infected and rotten that half his teeth were gone. The other half were decaying. His jaw was also broken in multiple places due to trauma - we honestly don't know how this boy wasn't screaming out in pain or how he was even managing to eat a bite of food...but there he was - surviving through it all. 

He desperately needed reconstructive surgery on his jaw, which he got, as well as antibiotics, diagnostics, preventative care, and dental surgery to remove his remaining teeth. And that's thanks to CUDDLY. His donors were able to unite and raise over $4800 for his treatment. He even got loads and loads of supplies and goodies to keep him happy and feeling special during recovery!

Today, Frankie has made a complete full recovery. The better news though is that he was ADOPTED and taken in by a family who is going to love him for the rest of his days. The pain of his past is finally behind him. 

We are so incredibly grateful for the support that came in for this boy. Together, we changed his life...and that is something that we will carry with us throughout all the trials of our own lives.
