Stanley

Sweet little Stanley was medically listed at the South LA Animal Shelter, and as you can probably assume, time was most definitely not on his side. But, luckily, rescuers at Tails To The Wind saved this sweet boy just in time before his life could be cut short. However, Stanley was blind in his “good” eye and needed his other eye removed, he had severely infected anal glands, a horrible ear infection, and horrific rotten teeth. On top of this, he was also attacked by another dog as there was some trauma to his head and puncture wounds around his left eye that have scabbed over and created a dent in his skull above his right eye. To say the least, this little cutie was suffering from a life of pure neglect. 

Stanley underwent emergency surgery to get his left eye removed, as well as dental surgery. Since this was not an easy procedure to recover from, he had a long journey. But, each day he continued to amaze rescuers with his resilience and progress. He even received a Muffin's Halo to help him transition to prevent him from bumping into walls and objects!

Once Stanley's journey to recovery was over, his foster soon realized that he wanted to make this sweet boy a permanent part of his family. So, we are happy to announce that Stanley has been adopted by his foster family! Stanley is so happy and now knows what true love is. He is absolutely spoiled rotten and gets to go on lots of adventures with his new family. 

Stanley was only able to make a beautiful recovery because of all his CUDDLY supporters. So, thank you for loving and supporting Stanley throughout his journey to ensure he finally gets the life he has been dreaming of for a very long time!
