Felix

Felix scratched until his body bled and blistered - no matter how long or hard he tried though, his itch just wouldn't go away. 

Without a loving family to get him the medical care he desperately needed, he continued to suffer until a kind soul spotted him running around looking for scraps on the streets of San Benito, Texas. They knew he needed help - so they searched high and low for rescue to take him in. They found a rescue in a land far, far away that would make sure he received medical care, and hopefully, a happily ever after in a furever home. Ellie's Legacy Animal Foundation in Maine welcomed them into their furry family until he's healed from what he has been through. 

Little by little and day by day, Felix had been making remarkable improvement. After getting treated for his GI parasites, receiving nutritious Merrick food from his wishlist, lots of antibiotics, and endless TLC, it's hard to believe he is the same dog! His personality has blossomed and he now has a beautiful black, shiny coat to match it! 

Felix has come so far since coming to Ellie's Legacy Animal Foundation. From a mangey, skinny, scared street dog to a handsome, happy, trusting, shiny-coated fellow! His foster mom has done wonders! But, of course, he wouldn't have made this incredible transformation if it wasn't for his CUDDLY family. Because of all your generous donations toward his medical care and his healing items from his wishlist, Felix is FINALLY getting his happily ever after.
