Weighing in at only 1 pound 10 ounces, Tiny Rory was little, but she was in need of someone with a big heart to show her some love.
When Rory was first brought into the Perfect Imperfections family, she was only 3 ½ weeks old. Rory was just like every other puppy in every way except for one: she was born without an anal opening. Although Rory had a functioning digestive system, if left untreated, Rory would have only survived for a short period of time. Perfect Imperfections immediately rushed to get her emergency surgery to save her life. She spent a total of 3 days in the emergency vet clinic after her first surgery, then had to return shortly after because it was suspected that her colon was leaking.
Little Rory began running and playing because of a second life-saving surgery and began her road to recovery with antibiotics, pain medication, and stool softener. It's been a long few months for Rory, especially with some late-night ER scares when she had difficulty going to the bathroom and loss of appetite, but because of her CUDDLY family, we are happy to announce that Rory made a full recovery AND found her forever home!
Because of Rory's generous CUDDLY supporters, she was able to receive the necessary life-saving medical care and received so many yummy treats and toys along the way to aid in her recovery. We cannot thank you enough for helping give Rory a beautiful second chance at life!
