Lillie Bell

When we first saw this girl it was a horrifying sight to see as her organs were spilling out of her tiny body. We had no clue as to why a fight broke out, but we did know that she was fighting for her life after a dog ripped right through her skin. With her condition so severe, her owners believed the best thing for her was euthanization, but little did they know that she had so much more life to live. 

Lillie Bell’s road to recovery was quite the nightmare, after beating the odds and surviving a brutal attack her future was uncertain. Thankfully, the amazing staff at the vet believed this girl had much more fight left in her and contacted our rescue to save her. With time being of the essence, we immediately brought her in for surgery, hoping that would be enough to save her, and…thankfully, it was!!

After her surgery, she began recovering BEAUTIFULLY and none of her intestines were heavily damaged in the attack, allowing the doctors to patch her up with no problems. We are SO SO proud of how far she’s come and how brave she ways, even on the worst days. 

BUT…that’s not even the best part of Lillie Bell’s story!! She has been….drum roll, please…ADOPTED. Can you believe it, after everything thing she has endured, she has made a full recovery and has found a family to make sure she never goes through that kind of pain again! We are over the moon for her as she embarks on the greatest adventure of her life!
