Leonard

Pain, neglect, and fear are just a few words that come to our minds when we look at this innocent boy. Was he used as a bait dog? Or did someone watch him deteriorate for years and do absolutely nothing because this doesn't just happen overnight. 

After this innocent boy was discovered staggering on the streets of San Antonio, Texas, he was transported to the local shelter. Sadly, because of his atrocious condition, the moment he entered the doors he was set to be euthanized. However, when rescuers at The Pawerful Rescue heard about this sweet boy, they dropped everything they were doing to come up with a plan to bring him into their care…. 

To say that Leonard got a second chance at life would be an understatement. When he originally came into our care here at Pawerful Rescue he had open wounds all over his body, his ear looked as if it had been ripped completely off leaving an open hole in his ear canal. It was devastating to see, we can’t even imagine the pain he had been in for SO LONG. 

After posting his campaign here on CUDDLY, we received an overwhelming amount of support for Leonard. Not only had he stolen our hearts, but it seemed as if he had stolen the hearts of the internet as well! Because of your incredible support, Leonard is now thriving and living his very best life! 

Not only was this boy nursed back to health, but he ended up finding his FURever home! This is exactly why we do what we do, to see these animals who had no chance finally thrive in loving homes. This is all thanks to YOU and to our awesome partners at CUDDLY who helped us get his story out there.
