Eugene

We discovered poor Eugene sprawled out on the streets of Dallas covered in worms and infested with fleas. This tiny puppy was a skeletal fragment of his former self and didn't have a single soul to love and nurse him back to health.

It was clear that three-month-old Eugene hadn't eaten a full meal in ages and was starving for food and affection, so we carefully scooped his fragile body from the pavement and rushed him to the emergency animal hospital for urgent medical care.

This poor guy needed four flea baths to finally eliminate the flea infestation that attacked his weakened body, plus a host of special medications and food to safely restore his appetite.

Eugene endured a long, relentless, and agonizing road to recovery but his progress is truly remarkable. With the help of our generous supporters, we raised enough money to pay for Eugene's critical medical treatment and he is doing really well now.

Finally, little Eugene grew healthy enough to be released from the hospital and into his new forever home! He is in great hands with a loving family who recently lost their senior pup and are ready to welcome Eugene into their hearts. Despite his traumatizing past, Eugene is a curious and loving boy who enjoys showering his new family with loads of affection.

We received a lot of support for this boy and we want to thank our amazing donors for helping to save his life. Eugene spent his life yearning for a family who would love and protect him and his wish is finally coming true.

Our overall goal is to help animals get medical treatment so they can recover and eventually get adopted, so it warms our hearts to see Eugene's happy ending. None of this could have been possible without YOU and our awesome partners at CUDDLY who helped share Eugene's remarkable story. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking a chance on Eugene and giving him the life he deserves.
