"This is Sasha, a poor kitty who was desperately searching for a warm place to lay his head at night. Instead, he got mangled by an unknowing person who started their car in the morning, crippling Sasha.
Devastatingly, this happens far too often during winters here in Lebanon. When we received a message from a good Samaritan who saw Sasha and reported him to us, we immediately rushed to his aid. We are thankful they did so because this baby wouldn’t have been able to survive on his own."...
After coming into our care we wasted no time on bringing him to the vet to see what needed to be done. It was decided that amputation would be the only way to fix the amount of pain he was in. We agreed, knowing that even though it can be scary for these fur babies- they eventually learn to thrive as tripods.
The surgery went SO well. We are incredibly happy to report that he has not stopped working on acclimating to his new normal! He is incredibly grateful for his second chance, and he is not going to let his not-so-typical body get in the way of a good, long life!
We want to thank you for your generosity towards sweet Sasha. Your gifts and donations have meant the world and have made the healing process so much easier for our boy. He is thriving because of you!
We also want to say thank you to CUDDLY for providing us with a way to get Sasha's story out there. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
